Martina Franca is a town of about 49,000 inhabitants in the province of Taranto in Apulia. It is best known for its Baroque architecture and the music festival of the Itria Valley, it sits at the border of the provinces of Taranto, Brindisi and Bari.
Its location offers stunning views of the Itria Valley, it’s located at an altitude of 431 meters above sea level and covers an area of 295 km², for this is the 39th place by order of largest among Italian municipalities. In addition, immediately after Altamura, it is the most populous municipality in the south of Bari.
White houses are located in the historic center and there you can find the baroque style of Palazzo Martucci, Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Motolese, Ancona Palace and the Basilica of San Martino.
